Is programmable lamp plug really a boost of energy efficiency?

This is a codable circuit board, comprising a plurality of arranged on a printed circuit board traces, each corresponding to one of the plurality of traces of a single bit in an encoded data word;

Printing a plurality of circuit runs on a printed circuit card, each of the conductors has a single constriction; Mounting the circuit board on which a ground terminal and said plurality of logic pins, said plurality of circuit runs corresponding to connections between said ground terminal and said plurality of logic pins; Providing a lamp; Attaching said lamp plug body to the lamp;

Burnout predetermined individual of the circuit lines depending on the type of lamp provided. A method according to claim 8, further comprising: Providing power supply connections which extend through the lamp plug body; Attaching a power conductor to said power supply terminals on its one end and to the lamp at its other end.
